User-Testing Result Report
The design of my mobile app was successful in the following ways:
Easy to navigate
Friendly and welcoming
95% of expected screens are already available for users
Everything was convenient for the user to complete specific tasks
Design is consistent with the visual language, making everything cohesive
The design of my mobile app was unsuccessful in the following ways:
The first round of lo-fi prototypes failed to have a shopping cart screen
Confirmation page did not have a confirmation number
The scrolling function of the site needs to be refined for the toy pages, based on the user-testing results from Kathy Wall
Menu icon needs to be tweaked
User-testers felt that Registration, Shipping, Billing and Payment pages had too many screens to go through, but it was necessary for the functionality of the site
The user-testing results helped me define and refine my screens for the responsive website. However, with future user-testings, I will have to remember to use new participants for each round. Also, I need to remember to take more photos of the sessions, so that I can have more documentation for my presentation.
