Week 8 Has Come & Gone!

This semester is going by so quickly. Maybe it’s because of having to revise the visual language, but everything is just whizzing by for me at the moment. I still have so much to do before needing to send everything off for production and before the final review.

This week:

I did user-testing this weekend, and based on the critique, I changed up the workbooks' art a bit. User-testing went well. I user-tested on 3 target audience members. All three really liked the new visual language. It's encouraging to hear, because of how behind I became due to the change in the visual system.

Thesis Video - I am uploading again... I know I need to add the deliverables to the video.

Website - www.rethinkplaytime.org - I updated the site a bit. Based on user-testing, it was suggested I change the contact page to a "RethInk Playtime" contact page, and not one that was about me. I also decided to embed the digital magazine to the website under the Resources page.

Thesis Presentation - I uploaded a rough sketch plan of what the slides will be. I am currently working on the digital slides now.

Social media platforms are all updated with new visual art. Just need to update the final video to the sites.

Thesis Book - is still in progress to be updated entirely. Still need to include user-testing, update my hi-fis to the new visuals, update photo and illustration style.

Packaging is still with the vendor for print. Will call Monday to get status.

Email Confirm Design - I created an email confirmation for the workshop registration.

Walkthrough Video - I uploaded a very rough walkthrough video with no sound yet. The quality of this video may be a bit low because of the size... Still need to work on script.
