A Little Behind
These past few weeks, I have been behind due to the refinements of my visual language. Based on critique and some user-testing feedback, I have refined it immensely to fit the needs of the project, as well as the feedback given. I feel that the visual language is working much stronger than the visual language that I had in Thesis 2.
This week, I focused on trying to securing my visual language in the magazine, that way I can carry the same rules and styles over to other deliverables.
The Magazine is about 95% complete. I had to stop for a bit to get working on other deliverables and my thesis book. I need to go back and revise all the soft pink to the full 100% magenta. I tried the soft pink for the illustrations, but I'm second guessing myself, and I am not quite liking the soft pink. Will have to go back and change that.
I also revised the logo.. I like it better with just two colors. I tried to add a softer pink, but it didn't look strong enough to me.
The Process Book attached is what I have so far with the new refinements to the visual language. I will be focusing on updating everything this week, as quickly and efficiently as I can so as to not get even further behind.
