Refinements Continued

Visual systems are hard... They look so simple at a glance, but the details and information that go into creating a visual system are intense. Right now, I am having to go through revisions on my visual language for my thesis project, and with it being so close to final presentation, the task seems daunting.

I've learned that it's best to get the details ironed out from the beginning so that as the rest of the deliverables are rolled out, there is no question about style, color, sizing, etc. Since Thesis 1, my visual system has changed dramatically. From colors to typefaces and logo changes, my visual system for this project has seen new revisions every step of the way. Even now in Thesis 3, changes are still being made.

Now that I am having to refine my visual language in this class, I am having to reflect and think about the best option to take to make the system work with my topic, while not having to recreate from scratch. Refinements have slowly been made, and the system is still on track. However, the messaging/outcomes need to be reworked so that the visual language relates back to the message and vice versa.

Here is what I have so far.
