A New Visual System

This week I was a little behind since my sketches from last week were a little bit below average. So I focused on my sketches and visual system for the Toy Page of my website. I also continued my exploration for my logos, color palettes and font system. I began to feel overwhelmed this week because I couldn’t get my thoughts in order. 

However, with the help of my instructor, I was able to narrow down my thoughts to 4 design ideas for my visual system. I sketched at least 3-4 iterations for each design idea, then created explorations of a companion logo for each one. 

I also quickly drafted my product specs and journey map. For the product specs, I referred to my materials matrix and just created a bullet list of important items that need to be included in the short description. 

For the journey map, I chose a persona from GR 600: Stacey The Babysitter. Again, I quickly drafted a short scenario for the map, which will be refined in Module 3.
